“I’m absolutely delighted to be Clan Chieftain at the 2011 Rosneath Peninsula Highland Gathering. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to those from near and far who’ve come along to this wonderful event.

“Argyll and Bute Council is delighted to support the Gathering and to see so many people taking part. It provides a real opportunity for local people to enjoy a family day out, it brings visitors in to the area and is a chance for local businesses to get involved.

“I’ll be enjoying the day as much as everyone else and hope to meet as many of you as I can when I see for myself what’s going on.”
